IT Internship available at The Giorgi Companies in Blandon, PA

GGH is a privately held company serving the Food and Beverage industry.  GGH has approximately 8,000 employees in 17 countries. We are currently seeking an intern to assist us in our IT Department located in Blandon, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Build and configure new PCs.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving users' desktop/laptop issues.
• Configure and automate software installations.
• Respond to daily user requests and resolve issues in a proactive manner.
•  Log time and problem resolutions via IT ticket system.
• Participate in planning and implementation of multi-scale projects
• Assist in managing our access control system (adding new employees, creating new badges, disabling employee access, modifying employee access).
• Other task as needed

Education/Experience

• Major - Information Technology / Computer
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and independently as needed.
• Detail-oriented, hardworking and enthusiastic.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
