 This innovative program was created to help small businesses and college students connect and get the most out of their collaboration.


Small businesses will be looking for full-time, part-time, internship and permanent positions in a variety of areas.

Job Description

Information Technology in Manufacturing Intern 

This position works with the IT (Information Technology) support system and reports to the manufacturing manager to further utilize Sealstrip’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to integrate bar coding to our inventory management. 

This position will work with production planning, purchasing, IT, management, and material handling roles using both hardware and software to achieve the goal of using bar coding to seamlessly receive products, track manufacturing, and transition product to finished inventory for shipping. 

This position is fully onsite in our Gilbertsville facility, although some hours may be remote for research and some reporting tasks. 

Qualifications: Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, creative yet process oriented mindset, 18+ years of age, Education in information technology Experience required in IT, ERP software, MS360. Experience/knowledge preferred in manufacturing.

About the Job

What we’re looking for:

An energetic and motivated IT Intern to join our fast-growing and dynamic team for the summer.

What you’ll be doing:

The responsibilities of this position will vary, but primarily focus on staging new Windows laptops, handling general IT needs from employees, and assisting in migrations. As such, the candidate will be required to interact frequently with employees internally from different departments, as well as externally with vendors and subcontractors. The standard work hours and days for this employee can be flexible, but generally will be from 8:30 AM – 5 PM, Monday-Friday.
