Junior .NET Web Developer at Paul Fredrick










Paul Fredrick, an established men's fashion apparel retailer is seeking a full time junior .Net Web Developer. This person will be responsible for developing Web applications in a fast paced environment and work closely with various members of the organization as well as outsourced developers and business partners. This person will report directly to the V.P of IT.

Position Summary:

Junior .Net Web Developer will be expected to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. He/she must be self-motivated, flexible, and capable of handling both tactical and strategic assignments. He/she must be very organized; detail-oriented; tenacious yet tactful; a strong problem solver; and able to work well under pressure. Most of all, he/she must be passionate about growth, web development, web technology, trend spotting and customer satisfaction. Major Responsibilities:

·         Development, modification and testing of e-commerce application.
·         Requirements analysis and design of the company’s e-commerce application
·         Monitoring and general support of the company e-commerce application and related activities.
·         Analyzing and identifying system performance issues, recording bugs, testing fixes and implementing the identified solution.
·         Manage Projects involving outsourced developers.
·         Other projects or tasks as assigned by supervisor.
·         Work with Leads and internal customers to define and gather requirements and map them to technical specifications.

Qualification:

The qualified candidate will have 0-2 years’ experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area.
·         .Net Website Development experience with Visual Studio 2005 or later and C#.
·         Practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery
·         Understanding of IIS websites
·         Practical knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases
·         Knowledge of Web Services, RESTful services and XML

In addition, it would be a plus if the candidate also had experience with:
          ·         HTML5, CSS3 
          ·         Advanced SQL and/or PL/SQL 
          ·         SEO 
          ·         Mobile Smart Phones 
          ·         jQuery Mobile

The qualifications stated above are desired but not mandatory. Paul Fredrick will train the selected candidate in the areas that are missing.
