Position Background

CT Global Solutions is currently looking for a junior technical consultant to add to its Allentown, PA-based consulting team.  This individual will play a key role in the end to end software implementation life cycle and will be primarily focused on data transformation and integration, solution support, custom coding and reporting, installation and configuration of SAS solutions and platform administration,.  As a member of dynamic, rapidly growing team, the consultant will undergo extensive training on SAS platform administration and other tools. There will also be significant mentoring by both senior consulting staff and firm management. 

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop SAS platform administration skills and contribute to projects
• Plan, develop, and implement data transformation strategies to provide for integration of data from multiple source systems
• Develop advanced custom code to augment SAS software for client specific needs
• Build complex dashboards and reports using SAS and other reporting /OLAP tools
• Provide client knowledge transfer through training and documentation
• Work with client business users and IT stakeholders to provide post-implementation maintenance and support

Qualifications (required unless noted otherwise)

• Undergraduate degree in computer science or other quantitative field with computer science coursework/experience
• High degree of literacy in at least three of the following areas: programming, data transformation, software installation, system administration and solution implementation
• Technical competence in at least one programming language using embedded SQL querying language
• Ability to manipulate large quantities of complex data
• Ability to work across multiple platforms (PC, UNIX, mainframe, etc.)
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and client teams
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines
• Willingness to travel 75 – 80% of time (Monday – Thursday/Friday)
• Basic understanding of general business principles – highly preferred
• 1 – 3 years of consulting or IT experience – preferred
• Familiarity with SAS Analytics tools, Access, VBA, HTML, etc. – plus
