Black, Latinx, and Native American students wanted for SEO Tech Developer program

 

 

Greetings!

 

We’re reaching out on behalf of the SEO Tech Developer, a new paid summer program for Black, Latinx, and Native American sophomores majoring in computer science, computer engineering, and related STEM fields.

 

The SEO Tech Developer is an immersion program designed to help sophomore students level up their programming and interview skills to increase their opportunity to land roles at leading tech companies. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from a curriculum developed and delivered by tech professionals, while gaining coaching and mentorship from professionals at leading companies like Wayfair, Take 2 Interactive, and Workday.

 

Program Benefits 

·         Individual and group projects providing hands-on experiential training 

·         Six-week virtual summer intensive residency, along with four-week part-time training sessions in the spring and fall 

·         A $1,000 weekly stipend during the summer session to help defray expenses 

·         Soft-skills training including communication, networking workshops, navigating through work culture, and interview preparation catered to tech industry internships 

·         Top-notch mentoring from partner companies, access to internship opportunities, and more 

·         The support of SEO, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1963 with a proven track record of helping underrepresented students gain access to and succeed in highly competitive fields 

 

The deadline to apply is March 31, 2021.
