Job Responsibilities:
- Administering and monitoring health of Windows, Linux and VMware servers, both physical and virtual including OS, management, hardware and software.
- Working at a technical level with a solid understanding of SAP, its underlying database, operating system, and hardware platform.
- Maintaining and administering all non-SAP applications in a Windows SAP environment (e.g. OpenText, Invoiceware, ReadSoft and VPSX products).
- Providing timely, effective, and professional customer support.
- Providing installation, configuration, integration, and upgrade and testing services
- Determining root causes of issues, providing resolution and communicating back to clients on results.
- Maintaining standard operating procedures documentation.
- Participating in problem resolution including the on-call rotation.
- Participating in knowledge transfer and cross training of SAP team members.
- Assisting in DR activities, including participating in annual DR exercise.
- Resolving SAP Windows Incident Management tickets that are raised in Service Center.
- Perform SAP Server Builds.
