Strategist – Web Analytics Position Description
Position Summary:  Responsible for the tracking and reporting of web sales and traffic and partnering cross-functionally to develop and promote analytic expertise.  Identify actionable profit-based marketing and product opportunities through customer analysis and statistical information. 
Responsibilities:
Ø  Update standard set of core analytic reports (daily, monthly, seasonal)
·         Lead analysis and regular reporting of key KPI’s and site performance web metrics
·         Analyze response, conversion funnel and sales data and formulate conclusions
·         Effectively communicate performance results, relevant trending and identified areas of opportunity
Ø  Prepare ad-hoc analysis on request by stakeholders
Ø  Quality Control
·         Responsible for managing analytical tagging
·         Monitor analytic variables to ensure firing properly
·         Validate core variables after production pushes
Ø  Collaborate with marketing team to support strategic development and positioning of the Paul Fredrick brand
Ø  Competitive Analysis

Desired Skills and Experience:
Ø  Qualifications:
·         4-year college degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or comparable field
·         Experience with Adobe Analytics (Omniture) or Google Analytics a plus
·         Google Tag Manager (GTM) and/or Adobe Tag Manager (DTM) experience a plus

Ø  Skills:
·         Strong analytical, statistical and presentation skills
·         Thorough understanding of web analytics and direct marketing concepts
·         Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables)
·         Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with peers and supervisor (including well developed listening skills)
·         Strong strategic thinking and planning skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize projects
·         Consistent achievement of goals
·         Desire to learn and continually stay up to date on digital technology

Position Summary: The main focus of the position will be on Search Engine Optimization efforts in order to improve our sales from natural search. This role will also play an important role in administration of content and promotion management. Assisting with user experience improvements will be the third component comprising the position.

Position Responsibilities: Administration of SEO best practices. Execute the web usability management tasks. Assist with web usability and on site projects as necessary.

Functional Responsibilities:
Administration of SEO best practices
  • Coordinate strategic efforts with agency
  • Execute improvements for page titles, meta data, and content optimization
  • Manage link building efforts
  • Coordinate with social media outreach
  • Utilize tools to analyze reporting and improve all ranking and performance metrics

Execute the web usability management tasks.

  • Landing page creation and maintenance of products & content
  • Badge loading and upkeep
  • Online promotion redemption set up, testing and messaging
  • Set up of online catalog
Assist with web usability and on site projects as necessary.
  • Issue diagnostic and follow ups
  • User Acceptance Testing of new tests and projects.
  • Other miscellaneous & ad hoc projects
Keep abreast of new tools, best practices, etc. in the area of SEO and web usability

Skills and Competency Requirements:
  • Understanding of ecommerce and SEO best practices and direct marketing concepts.
