This program, entitled “Commonwealth Public Service Intern,”
is a paid ($14.03/hour), six month internship, which provides a flexible
pathway for college students to advance from this internship program to Commonwealth employment in a variety of occupations.
Following
successful completion of this program, students will be promoted to a
full-time, permanent position with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania!
We still have many opportunities available for internships starting in late spring 2016
(May and June). Students who are interested in participating in this program this summer need to submit
their applications by mid-January.
To
qualify, students must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in
an accredited bachelor’s
degree program and have satisfactory completion of 65 credits, including
12 credits (or a minimum of four courses) in their major field of
study. They also need authorization from their school to participate in
this program. Students have up to three months
after graduation to complete the six month internship.
