Software Developer


Summary:

Continental Tide is seeking a motivated, energetic individual for a Software Developer position at our Reading, PA office.  The successful candidate will join our Application team currently supporting initiatives for Naval Sea Systems Command, United States Coast Guard, and Military Sealift Command.  Candidate must possess an understanding of application development.  Candidate must be able to design and maintain fully dynamic and functional applications. 

Requirement include:

·         A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university. 
·         Proficient in Objective-C and be familiar with Java and C. 
·         Knowledge of Unit Testing and other testing environments  
·         Familiarity with databases such as SQL, SQLite and PostgreSQL.
·         Understanding of Encryption standards and methods.
·         Proficiency with Mac OS and iOS and be familiar with Windows.
·         Familiarity with Git, Xcode. 
·         Understanding of JSON, XML and UML. 
·         Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
·         Ability to work independently and in a team environment
·         Must be able to obtain a security clearance
