CAI is currently looking for candidates seeking an IT internship position.  We are looking for candidates from local colleges or Universities to the Allentown, Pa. area. as we would like them to work 12-16 hours in the fall/spring and hours are very flexible around your class schedule. 

This person will help develop "content" for a proprietary system and do ad hoc projects as they arise. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to get 'hands on' IT experience.  This internship pays $10-12/hr.

He/she will do coding and analysis to help with CAI's new software. 

CAI has hired over 40 interns over the past year and over 100 college graduates since 2002 in our Allentown, HQ.

IT Web Design Internship at Computer Aid in Allentown

IT Intern: Web Design

CAI is currently looking for candidates (students) seeking an IT internship position (Web Design).  We are looking for candidates from local colleges or universities to the Allentown, PA area; this student can work 10-20 hours/ week (year round and more in the summer).  We are very flexible with school schedules while school is in session.

  

As a web design intern, you’ll be working with our user experience team to design and build a range of web sites and applications. You’ll get experience across the entire design process from requirements gathering to implementation. Specifically, you’ll be:

• Working with stakeholders to understand and document their needs
• Developing and refining creative solutions through sketches, wireframes, and mockups
• Bringing your ideas to life using the latest and greatest web technologies

Your Skills:

• An eye for design and an understanding of current trends; familiarity with Adobe products a plus
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• The ability to communicate ideas clearly and to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders

This internship pays $10/hr.

IT Hardware Internship at Computer Aid in Allentown

IT (Hardware) Internship Positions

Candidates must be local to Allentown, Pa.

Candidates must not graduate until May 2016 at earliest.

We're looking for someone who can work 16-20 hours / week on a fairly set schedule (can be changed but it just needs to be consistent) while they are in school and 30-40 hours a week during the summer (they can take some vacation etc).

The ideal person would have basic PC setup and troubleshooting skils with Desktops and Laptops, as well as experience with Windows 7, Microsoft Office, Visio etc. We would be looking for the person to be doing computer setups and rolling out/shipping equipment to the end users. Work will also include other tasks such as setting up printers, basic printer troubleshooting, virus/spyware removal, assisting with some facilities work such as desk moves, IT setups (docking station, monitors, etc.), and organization/storage/digital tracking of IT assets.

Candidates would also be accompanying our full-time technicians on support visits to local CAI clients (within 15 minutes of the CAI office) to assist in the same type of work done at the CAI office. This will also allow additional opportunities to gain experience with infrastructure-type work (LAN/WAN, firewalls, swtiches/routers, network cabling, servers).

This person would be focusing more on the hardware side than software side. This also would be a paid internship/position. We are looking for a person to work for us longer than a couple of months who wishes to gain experience in a corporate environment in a role that could turn into a long-term position with the company if they work out well.

Summary:

Continental Tide is seeking a motivated, energetic individual for a Software Developer position at our Reading, PA office.  The successful candidate will join our Application team currently supporting initiatives for Naval Sea Systems Command, United States Coast Guard, and Military Sealift Command.  Candidate must possess an understanding of application development.  Candidate must be able to design and maintain fully dynamic and functional applications. 

Requirement include:

·         A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
